Radio has to be the best tool to report on
current events, it's immediate. I fell in love with the spontaneity of it all. I've also always loved the idea of being behind the mic and informing people about what's happening around the world. So when I got the opportunity, I relished it and still continue to do so.

I am a young ambitious girl, who comes from a very small town called Witbank all the way in Mpumalanga. My dream and passion is to become successful in the broadcasting industry and make my dreams become a reality.  Most people call me the loud Greek girl, and I couldn't agree with them more. I love meeting and socializing with people. I am full of energy and try my utmost best to make a difference in everyone's life. I am currently studying Journalism at the University of Johannesburg.

Period at UJFM: June 2010 to present

I am an opinionated and highly confident intellectual, with a love for knowledge, I read more than I breathe, so you can just imagine just how much I know. I’m currently pursuing my LLB law degree and loving every minute of it. If there is one thing I can teach the world it is to treasure and love everything that gives you your identity.

Reasons for being on radio:
I grew up being interested in anything that required me to speak, I enjoyed debating and public speaking and gradually developed quite an eloquent speech. Radio is the medium through which I can exercise my talent, and where better to start than UJFM 95.4,the radio
station which is the custodian of youth development and entertainment.

I'm a young, vibrant, self-motivated and enthusiastic 22 year-old who has a zest for life. Being a hard-worker, I'm passionate about what I do and always make it a point to have a positive outlook on life. My flair for dramatics enables me to mix with people from all walks of life. I have been at UJFM for two years now and it has been such an amazing experience.
Radio is the biggest and most influential medium of communication and to be part of it truly is exciting and rewarding.

I’m 22, Tinkerbelle's best friend, very loud, love to laugh and shout. I am a strong willed lady who believes in having respect for all regardless of age. Honesty IS always the best policy.
Reason for being in radio? There is always something new to be learnt in this industry. I always want to know what is happening around me and to me radio is the quickest medium in which one can source information.

Being 21 years old I am a young, hard-working, passionate individual who has decided to choose his love for the entertainment industry and media as his career. (instead of a BCom :D )

I was inspired at an early age to enter the radio industry by talented jocks like Chilli M, Bob Mabena and more! And fortunately UJFM 95.4 took me on and gave me an opportunity to enter this field.

I'm an avid sports fan, who aspires to be one of the best South African female sports presenters. My favourite sport in particular is soccer and I stand firmly as a Kaizer Chiefs and Barcelona fan (hope fans from other clubs don't runaway now)

In a nutshell, I'm young, willing and able!

Reason for being in broadcasting/radio: I've always been fascinated by broadcast media and when the opportunity came along for me to join the station, I grabbed it with both hands and ran with it. Radio is part of who I am.

I’m known, by friends and most listeners as Nonto. I’m tagged with a big exclamation mark for being flamboyant, a lover of music and people. I’m opinionated, talkative with an easy/ruthless thinking crowd, I’m also very loving, observant, and care for the weak and poor. I’m definitely attracted to people, who are just themselves. Reading and singing are other loves, i practice dearly.

Reason for being in broadcasting/radio; To spread out what’s of importance and engage with a distant but intimate audience.

A 24 year old from Benoni who is passionate about sport. Long term goal is to one day work for ESPN. My favourite sports are Football, Basketball, Tennis and American football.

Reason for being in broadcasting/radio: I love radio and I love sport........there's no other reason.
