In
this, their fourth studio album, the used return with something a
little different from what most fans will be used to. Not to say that
this is a bad thing, there are just a few differences between this
album and previous ones such as In Love and Death. Firstly, the band
have moved forward and have focused more on the music and
less on studio tricks, and secondly, the they have become more creative
with their songs. Creativity in the way that each song is well put
together giving the album a more refined feel to their previous ones
– it’s not so in your face. Hardcore fans may have
a problem with this direction, but tracks like “Blood on My
Hands” and “The Best of Me” should keep
you satisfied. Overall the album is well worked and more mature than
previous work, although it does take some getting used to, it is
undoubtedly a brilliant album. 4/5
