From the moment you start playing this
album it has your attention, and manages to keep it. Unlike their EP
Beautiful
Mornings, which was very raw and messy, this album has a more dynamic
and
polished feel to it. What also keeps your interest in the album is the
dynamics
of the songs and arrangement of them. From the energy of the opening
Someone
Stole The Light with its indie-pop feel, straight into the slower tempo
of
Stone Wife, to the country-esq style of Black Rose, this album
defiantly keeps
you wondering what is next. Not to say that this album is a
masterpiece, but it
does show off the talents of the band and their unique style of making
music.
