My vision for the station is simple; I want to make UJFM sound excellent and exciting over the airwaves for as long as I’m still the Production Manager.
My favourite music genre is house or anything that makes people dance and have fun.
My outlook on life: “We are all unique, but the same, so let’s let each other live”

As a station we constantly work at producing quality radio programming that encompasses involvement with the student market.
Info-tainment is the name of the game.
We provide the funkiest and off-the-chain entertainment accompanied with the latest in current affairs. Being the Interviews and Special Projects Manager, it is my duty to ensure that all on-air interviews are conducted in a professional manner and are relevant to the station as well as the UJ brand.

The UJFM 95.4 News and Sports Division has become a notable entity that provides a distinctive platform of knowledge for you, the UJFM community.
We strive to compile reliable content, justified opinion and precise delivery from 06:00 - 18:00 weekdays and, 07:00 – 10:00, on Saturday’s and Sunday’s.
Our 30 plus journalists are expected to unleash their educated repertoires and are groomed to cover stories from all sectors of the continent and around the world.
Furthermore, emphasis has been placed on field work as heard throughout the 2011 Municipal Elections and with the AND1 Basketball Tour of Southern Africa.

I would like to see UJFM 95.4 having a much stronger personality as a brand. We have personalities that compliment each other. UJFM is on its way to the top. Our day to day running of the station is in the hands of young, brilliant minds who take pride in being part of the station in their respective departments.

Darryl Pather or as he is affectionately known, Dj Deezo is a music extraordinaire by all accounts, known for his professionalism, infectious charisma and crowd pleasing performances.
His artistic blend of different music styles and genres painting a picture made of beats and synths.
As UJFM’s official resident DJ and Music Manager, DJ Deezo is a prominent figure at all UJFM events, playing to crowds in excess of 2 thousand people. Don’t let his cool calm demeanor sway you, he comes with a fire in his pocket to set the air alight.
Having played at the biggest gigs around and joint perfomances with big names in the music industry DJ Deezo has carved out his name from solid granite ensuring that the all sets graced by his touch is sheer brilliance.
